Default Track Days, how does it work?

Hey guys, just wondering how it works, do you have to get a license, or do you need driver training before you're allowed to go on track? Can you put any car on track?

As above, any car will do and a normal driving licence is enough

That's It?????? Foookin' Ell, the local track by me (2-3 hours away) you need to go out with a driver first, then when you have enough hours you can go out solo!! I wanted to go to one, show up drive, have a good laugh...but doesn't look that way!! Can I bring my car over and race with you guys.

No racing allowed For that you will need to do as you have described above - plus get a race licence. Certain tracks / operators over here have hire cars too

Racing is usually classed as door handle to door handle stuff or pushing around corners.

Blasting down a straight is fine, but what you wont see people doing on track days is going 2-3 abreast into corners etc

That brings out the black flags

Nope and its one of the reasons they set you off from the start individually at about 30 second intervals because you will have cold tyres on the first corner

If anyone is seen doing that during lapping its a black flagging and serious chat time
