The -31 spring tension is set to compress/open wastegate at 9 psi odd and the -34 is set to compress/open wastegate at 14 odd psi.

Not going to reply to this thread by stating(but I am) that you must make sure the rest of the car is set up for unlimited boost.
I now run mine at 18 psi but have had a chip run and tested to 35psi with all nes to run it
These are old school cars if you want without boost control 20psi run a -34, If you want 15psi run a -31. Saying that run want you want within reason by bleeding off a certain amount .

I am not the oracle by far but my tunner/mapper has never batted an eyelid whether I was running a T4 or my current GT2871R unit.
Spark advance is set sensibly (not that I know what it is) but I been giving my car the beans for ten years with no problem.

My Best.

I don't want to run stupid boost my old ecu was set at 18psi so I thought if I had the unlimited on it could b set up 2 whatever is needed I'm hoping for over 200bhp and I would b happy with that it's got front mount intercooler straight through exhaust air filter bottom end been fully rebuilt lightend and balanced etc head been re done high lift cam etc the usual stuff realy it was running 194 bhp with fucked turbo and 17psi and soft actuator

Mine's a cossy but an engine is an engine , I hate to do this but you need a tunner/mapper to advise you.

1/ what are these engines capable of (with all nes to run this figure)

2/How reliable it would be at this stage.

Along with the depth of your pockets.

I have been round the houses with mine and all said and done a drivable reliable car Makes me smile.

My Best.

The Garret actuator's are the best, but make sure you get a Garret as I have been blessed with one that is not !!! (bought a -31 from a very reputable company that is by no means a Garret, stamped as such but not.) This was comfirmed by Garret themselves!

Careful out there.

My Best.
