Out of interest... who's right and who's wrong?

The trucker driver's fault..
I'm thinking the same since I do 1200kms per week.
I'm also currently assisting my insurance company after an accident 2 years ago. Seems the other party isn't insured and despite admitting fault at the scene about going through a red light, he is now blaming me to avoid the $10,000 bill he will be getting.
Unfortunately he picked the wrong bloke and will now likely get a nice little fine in the post. Bahaha
A camera would have been very helpful that day.
Anyone checked out here: http://www.szswill.com/car-camera.html ?

100% agree, to me it looked like although cars are approaching, he started moving out as quickly as possible and maybe like has been said, if he didnt he would just never get out - I know i have sat in a car waiting for an eternity as people are constantly coming round the island and usually too quickly.
All too often people have a mind set that they own the f*cking road and if any is in their way they would rather plough straight into them than slow up a little and let them clear out of the way. Sometimes you have to use a bit of common sense.
The other year I watch a girl drive straight into someone turning right across them, yes the guy turning right was in the wrong, he actually had enough time but took forever to turn. But the girl has masses of time to brake gently, easy the speed and then be on her way, but no, the silly bint carried on at way above the speed limit and didn't brake until the very last second when i guess she realised f*CK I am going to hit him. Shaking like a shitting dog afterward, all balls and rage prior.

This. He was wrong, but he had probably been sat there for ages already. What do you want him to do? Wait until everyone else has gone home? The car drivers had plenty of time to see he was going and just slow down.
If you were sat behind him you'd be glad of what he did instead of holding you up.

22 years a class 1 Hgv driver now retired ... Truck drivers fault 100% , he has a clear view of on coming cars , no indication from car driver in left lane till he passes the prev exit .. no excuses apart from impatience ...roundabouts were always a bug bare of mine as a HGV driver fully freighted clear way nothing there set off , cars doing 30 - 40 mph round a round about thats obstructed by the carriage way stanchion's or other obstructions , whats a driver to do slam on mid roundabout .. happens every day .. not in this case though .. Truck driver out of order ! .
