a car i bought is a 57 but on log book 08
how does this happen and why just bought it for the wife and was just wondering.

First thing to check is the vin number on the car and also the log book to see if they match up. You might have bought a car on false plates

yeah the car is legit its a 2008 car but on a 57 plate even says on the dvla from new

57 plate runs from September 2007 until march 2008 and as such that overlap will cause a 57 in 2008

Yep I just brought the missus a new fiesta brought it the day before the 14 plate came out as got a good deal, so is a 63 plate bubut a 2014 car

yeah glenn it was a bmw convertible but had it a few years got her a Peugeot 207 now so I can get my plan together for my focus rs
