Got a message the next day to say that the rims had been stolen out of his garage overnight.
2 weeks later they were back in ebay from same seller,went for £180 second time.

I almost got a mk1 fiesta. The man said it was still for sale. And then sold it. Talk about bring your hopes up

 

Happened to my brother last month bought a bargain a4 audi 60 plate diesel for 6 K on the sat he called the bloke the Monday to arrange the pic up etc and cash even tho he paid an instant deposit when he won guy said he sold it as he didn't calm him the Sunday ... complete arse holes

 

open a case with ebay! or wait few days if he relists start a case that way he's fucked

 

so why does a no reserve auction start at the reserve price, like a 2004 focus zetec starting bid £1500 you shouldnt be able to say no reserve when there clearly is, no reserve means no reserve, if you take your car to BCA no reserve means it sells for whatever it makes,

 

Hes just sent me a msg saying hes selling the car for someone else now an the guy he sold it to as backed out the deal so its mine for £250 if i want it wel iv said ay mate i won it for £150 an he said its worth more if he scraps it cheecky git im fumming.wait til he relists it straight on to ebay iam.

 

Had the same happen to me, won a bucket seat and harness for £13 told me they were stolen the night before I was suppose to collect. Won a rad for 99p no reserve, but his dad had taken it to the tip....... yeah yeah ok. I reported the one with the bucket seat, I bet nothing happened.

 

Ebay is a joke now tbh i won an rs2000 front buper for 99p an iv collected it an he was happy cos he sold it so there good people an bad ones too im not happy at all with this guy i just want to ring is neck.

 

Because they get an additional charge from eBay to use a reserve, they hope that it sells for a decent price but when it doesn't they resort to underhand tactics to cancel the sale. EBay is full of arseholes now.

 

I sold a complete mk2 Granada GL interior for 99p, i was a bit cheesed off that it didn't go for more but i'm just glad someone is making use of it rather than it being chucked away

 

It's happened to me as well. Won an stunner of a Mk1 ST interior for £100. And from the pictures they could have passed as a brand new interior. So yeah won the auction, message a hour later saying he sold the drivers seat. And had the cheek saying do i still want the interior for £100.
