Im building a 1.8 silvertop turbo and I've just ordered an escort rst inlet manifold with injector rail/sandwich plate. Can I make this work or do I definitely need a fiesta rst manifold. Ill be using whatever throttle body I need to buy to fit whichever manifold I need.

You need either a cvh efi inlet with adapter plate to fit to a zetec head or an alloy HO inlet from a zetec engine (preferred option).
I have some 440cc injectors to fit this inlet if you are interested?

Are all efi inlets the same? I know the ports are different on an 1800 but is an xr2i the same as an rs turbo or are there different sensors for boost etc?

 

What car is it going in? The EFI manifolds won't let the bonnet close without raisers on Escorts for example.... and the EFI manifolds are very poor flowing.
A stock black top (same as FRS) inlet would be my manifold of choice if not going custom.... yes it fit's the silver top head.
