I've just got a halfords battery maintenance charger, they are pretty cheap and cheerful but has worked very well over this winter. Car Started every time after having it on to look after the battery.

I went to move the car last night after it had been on charge for a month and it kicked up no worries jacked the car up took the front bumper off then when I came to move the car back in the garage it was flat , then once I put the battery back on charge it went on to standby mode more or less it's like it's not measuring that the battery is flat and cutting off charge , the battery was new last August and is a ford battery
