Default Cleaning exhaust tail pipe????

What's the best product to use to polish up the tail pipe on my FRS? It's a Mongoose system with a 4" pipe but somehow it is lightly scuffed as if someone has previously tried to polish it with something too coarsely. Would it need something like a 3M Scotchbrite (???) hand pad?

Microfibre and metal polish.

I used to use Peek, a mate got it for me, so can't tell you where it came from!? Wasn't as harsh as Autosol though.

you can use normal polish and some steel wool - read it in a car mag but get something like Peek as above.

I used to use autosol all the time being a valeter but got a freebie of peek from autosmart and so much better. Autosol can leave quite a few scratches but peeks much better. Use it with a mutton cloth and then buff it up with a microfiber cloth and the a bit of body polish on top and you've a gleaming pipe. Did the full back box on my scoob like that and looked awesome

Depending on how black and burnt it is g6 isn't quite abrasive enough.

There's no black on it it just looks like someone has tried cleaning it with wire wool.

If you want to spend then g3 and a scouring pad but always go in circles then g10 and do in circles but the opposite direction then 2 or 3 polishes with body polish, preferably zymol as it's always worked for me.that will take all the scratches out but that's £40 in chemicals if your not in the trade.
