Default Audi a3 tdi egr

Started to make a strange noise, is there a motor on the bottom of it?
It does it when the ignition is on and for about 10 seconds when you remove the key.

Its the throttle body motor making the noise.... can these be replaced or are they part of the throttle body??
And do they need programming??
Do the different part numbers make a lot of difference?

It's called the inlet manifold flap. All it does is stop the engine from shuddering when you turn it off. It's a seperate part to the egr. But it shares a fuse with the radiator fan, so if it's got jammed up with egr crap it will blow that fuse. So be mindful your fan won't be working. Bit of a bastard to change as the bolts can be hard to get to.

They don't need programming but it might be a good idea if you clear the fault when you change the part and the fuse.
