Default att glenn, karl or any guys who know their transits

came out of a shop today and found a pool of oil under my 2001 t260 .it was dripping between the engine and the bellhousing ,after having a look in the haynes manual it looks like their is a seal between the clutch slave cylinder and the spigot shaft ,

is it a big job to do guys ?

is the seal only available from ford ?

i may tackle it in the morning so any advice would be greatly appreciated

If its a RWD transit the box would be easier to remove than the FWD one.
I would advise to have a look at the clutch to see if the gear oil had contaminated the clutch disc.

You can split the box away from the engine but its better to take the box out so you don't split the seal when fitting the new slave, motor factors won't know about the seal as you can't buy it seperate, I think from ford you can purchase the seal but it requires bonding to the slave
