Default Citroen C5 - Known issues?

Brother in law is considering one but in all honestly I don't know much about them. The fact it's a Citroen would have me avoiding it but he needs something more constructive.

Anybody know much about these?

used to work for citroen, not nicest looking car but quite clever, full car of people and luggage it will still ride at normal height (nothing worse than a car load of people with headlights shining at the sky because they don't know about the headlight adjuster lol) hydraulic pipes on bulkhead leak,as said crank pulley collapses on hdis (will get sucked inside timing cover aswell),sphere diaphrams go,rear compensator can sieze and rod break, dash bulbs.
