Why would it need a skyline box? there is a few direct fit options that will easy handle that power, tried & tested Bara box etc. As with the diffs loads of people run 500 and above with uprated cossie stuff and they are reliable.

Out of interest how many cosies out there actually run a skyline box and diffs? I can only ever recall seeing a couple of cars that actually have the box fitted, don't think I ever seen the diffs fitted as well.

I wouldn't run a skyline box .. the box diff and all the running gear and brakes and handling mods will be done first before power as I always do.

I'd like a skyline mate .. But still have ford tendencies lol

I'm glutten for punishment lol

im not saying its not possible with enough ŁŁŁŁ, what im saying is having run a 580 hp r32 gtr myself on stock gearbox and diffs its a lot cheaper.
I ran at pod, loads of 0 - 60 pulls in the 3s all I did in the end was burn out the twin plate clutch but nothing else broke, good luck getting a cossie to do that at 580 hp it wouldn't even launch once ! lol

I tried 3 launches in my old 2wd saph at 442 bhp and guess what, I did 3 diffs no joke !
that's when I bought the gripper of jay

That diff was a great diff i loved the gripper BUT I would go skyline box over gearkits ect as one your not paying cossie tax and 2 the skybus box is nicer to use than a straight cut

We all love hearing stories of it but only someone who is a bit green eyed uses the phrase 'posh beetle' to describe a Porsche. And I bet he wasn't gutted at all. Not even a little bit!!
