Still a twat tho! I have a mint little 1/4 drive air ratchet for doing them.

E46 BMWs are one of the easiest, 2 twisty clips, done!

Zafiras are shite, glovebox out and all those spring clips

Most Hyundais are easy, just behind glovebox or in side of heater.

i used to be able do head gaskets on these in about 40 min when hot rodding.
Used just bring spare head and gasket and do them between races

you can do the starter with the engine still in the car mate.

it's still a pig of a job tho, inlet manifold off then it's just accessable

Might be why the bulbs are dim. Properly water getting onto the connections.

Voltage drop normally.

I had a MK4 when they were quite new and had this over and over again. No leaks, no corrosion.

I put it down to undersized cables causing voltage drop.

Same car and B5 5.5 Passats;

Window regulator clips made out of eggshell
Door lock modules made out shit.

B5 and B5.5 Passats, Audi B5/6 A4's C5 A6's - Plenum drains that are undersized causing a lake in the plenum that can rot through the servo and hydolock the brakes and also get inside to the convenience module and rot the cables and module.

B5 and B5.5 Passats, Audi B5/6 A4's C5 A6's - The octopus 8 armed front suspension and in particular the pinch bolt for the upper balljoints.

Peugeot 207 the washer pump fails and then leaks water all over the engine loom, which then tracks up to the fuse box and ruins that's as well. Ł12 part ends up costing nearly Ł1k to fix properly.

I think it was a Renault Clio sport, to change the bulbs in the front headlamps you have to take the corresponding front wheel off and get at it from behind!

Some cars do have a flap on the wheel arch liner to access the bulbs.

Its better than having to remove the bumper

Do it without the tool then

Last time I did it the top arms were being replaced so I just got some heat on it and tapped it out quote easy but destroyed the bushes on the arms.
