Default ZVH running issues

Hi guys wondered if anyone could help. Have recently built a ZVH for my rs turbo. Here's the problem. It starts but it's lumpy and won't idle, if I let go of the throttle it dies. It has a piper 282t cam and vernier pulley but at the moment it's set to standard timing. Sometimes it does idle bit at about 400rpm. If I disconnect the cold start whilst it idles the revs pick up to 800 and it sounds fine however after about 10 seconds it will stall and not restart. It's still on mfi. Obviously has a fuel issue. I have changed the injectors, fuel pump and a sensor on the metering unit but still the same. Has anyone got any ideas? The fuel system has been bled, no boost or air leaks. It's driving me mad! Thanks
