24v v6 power
Just wondering what is the most power anyone has got out of a BOA v6, with out changing any of the engine parts I.e crank/pistons/heads/cams/pulleys.
Is the standard ecu, chipable?
Decat or faster flow cats
Injectors (vauxhall)?
Restriction myths?
Will the engine cope with twin turbo without internal failure?

The Vauxhaull injectors is a bit of a myth apparently, more cost effective options are available.
Good write up on the BOA in Retro Ford last month i think?

In all fairness I've never heard of a 24v v6 letting go even though they have same power standard as a standard YB, and they sound great

With manifolds and a filter you will normally be pushing around the 210 220 mark
But I remember years ago when we went to a 24v RR day that some cars need more power with the same mids as others
Jonnyb made the most that day I think with 226

That ain't bad considering its an N/A I was hoping to push it to 250bhp but I think I'm gunna need forced induction for that?

you can swap cams and stuff too but you need throttle bodies to get the most out of them really before you go turbo or chargering them

ITB's would be the way, for the noise alone!

Body's are so expensive and for that price you can get a lot more done to it turbo/Charged wise
