That belongs to a very good friend of mine

when i fist looked at it in his workshop i took the piss big time , but after seeing peoples replies etc on custom websites i noticed that this car is a bit of an icon and people in the old school custom world totaly loved it

I quess its a bit like Rods saff turning up in 30 years time , the modern world wont get it , but all us lot will remember it as an icon and love it

Whatever floats ya boat as they say , but this car did cause a ripple in the custom world when it was found

used to be dead common back in the day eh Paul ?, the original ripspeed stores selling most of the mods, most of us old gits have been there and tried retro customs, thank god things moved on as jacking my capri up 4" did nothing for its handling , then fitting a fog light above the jag axle to show off it being chromed and polishing the leaf springs thank god those days have gone

the memories are flooding back

Christ alive that's old skool! Seen plenty of stuff like this in custom car etc. Not to my taste but appreciate the work that's gone into it. That's a real old skool custom!

Only joking mate.

How much do you reckon he's spent on it throughout the years?

It was properly really cool back in the day. A bit like sun strips on peoples cars.

It looks crap and isn;t worth £15,000 but can appreciate at one point that had a lot of time, effort and money lavished on it.

It was cool back then, and the fact it's sat in the garage for the last 20 years in a time warp makes it cool now.

Think of someone rolling out the Max Power bodykitted cars of the 1990s in 30 years time! Sure they would get the same reaction but they were acceptable in our day.
