Default aeroquip 4wd fuel pressure reg

Can anyone tell me if its possible to aeroquip the fuel reg on a saff 4wd as from what ive read im getting people who have said yes and others no the regs I have seen done they have drilled a hole in the bottom of the reg and tapped it and tthen screwed a fitting in, the other option is to just push a pipe into the end and jubilee clip which looks naff

I know the other end of the rail would have to be cut and a fitting silver soldered on and I dont really want to go to the expense of have a billet fuel rail and remote regulator as the car doesnt really warrant it

Many thanks for everyones input and pictures would begreat too if u have any

Cheers gaz

wouldn't advise push fitting aeroquip as it wont clamp correctly so there's potentail for leaking fuel into a hot engine bay ! My advice buy a reg that will take the fittings and do the job correctly
