Can anyone tell me if its possible to aeroquip the fuel reg on a saff 4wd as from what ive read im getting people who have said yes and others no the regs I have seen done they have drilled a hole in the bottom of the reg and tapped it and tthen screwed a fitting in, the other option is to just push a pipe into the end and jubilee clip which looks naff
I know the other end of the rail would have to be cut and a fitting silver soldered on and I dont really want to go to the expense of have a billet fuel rail and remote regulator as the car doesnt really warrant it
Many thanks for everyones input and pictures would begreat too if u have any
wouldn't advise push fitting aeroquip as it wont clamp correctly so there's potentail for leaking fuel into a hot engine bay ! My advice buy a reg that will take the fittings and do the job correctly
As said though jay I didnt really wanna buy the remote reg as car will only be 380 ish and doesnt warrant it, why does bling have to be so expensive lol
Lol no choice dave I have all brand new fuel lines but the bufry in me wants them to go to a concourse man who I know as they will be appreciated and worthless once I fit them, what did u run on the escort you had aeroquiped dave?
