Front passenger window has been a bit intermittent for a couple of years, and usually it will start working again before I've got to where I'm going, but today, it won't.
It will go down, from the passenger door switch only, so the driver switch isn't working for it either. All the other windows are fine though.
Edited- it won't come up from either side.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Oops, didn't even explain that properly did I!!
No, it won't go up from the passenger side, only down, and the drivers side switch won't work at all for the passenger window.

have you had the switches out and tried connected the relative wires? Also take a DVM and have a look for and open circuit on the wires, one at a time to try and fine the fault!
Do this when it is not working if poss to fine the "intermittent" fault! - this can take a while!

Sorted it now.
It's the switch itself, and for some reason it stops the drivers controls operating the window aswell.
Stuck it on a rear window for now and ill get another one to replace it.
As I KNEW would happen, snapped the clip that holds the bit around the switch down, and the drivers door one is the same anyway so ill get them while I'm at it.

Could have been a nightmare if this happened during winter time, because you just know the window would get stuck in the open position and not close

Guaranteed with me, in fact, it was stuck in the open position yesterday and great big black storm clouds rolled over, despite us having a sodding heat wave.
