Default omex running problems

Im having a problem on a zetec turbo running an omex 600 ecu which uses a MAP and TPS for load ,
car ran fine on it when was last run over 2 years ago, but now all it will do if fire up idle for 10 seconds
Its like its just running on cranking fuel then the injectors are not firing after that
Any help would be great

I think you need to detail any changes that have been made. They could affect running.

As could injectors having sat for two years...they could have failed during that time ( strange, but Ive seen it a lot lately )
Likewise, the fuel in the tank could be deemed unfit for use after that time. Although I'd have thought it should still start.

From my last two points, it would seem that modern fuel is dung if left for extended periods.

You need to establish whether the problem is ecu related, or a mechanical problem. DO you have spark when cranking ? Are you getting a trigger to the injectors ? Can you hook up a laptop to the ecu to take some readings ?

Ya the injectors are firing as is the coil when cranking, tank has been cleaned fresh petrol added, pump runs to prime it then cuts back in when it fires?
finally found an old laptop with serial port. Tps sensor is working within paramitors as is air temp and water temp sensor.
Re installed map just incase still no difference

Pump will prime on key on. Pump will run after that only when the ecu sees the crank turning.

So you have visually confirmed fuel is being fired out the injectors ?

You have confirmed a good strong spark, and that the spark is fired at a sensible time to allow starting ( need a timing light )

With laptop connected, all sensors read normal, and when cranking you are getting an rpm signal ?

Are the plugs wet or dry ?

Does the engine make any attempt at all to fire ?
