Was thinking I'd like to get my missus a day driving a mk2 escort on a rally experience thing, but a decent one, not where she just gets 10 mins actual driving

Anyone done a good one?

 

Good ones are proper money, do not be tempted with a cheaper one, I have done a few and they have all been shite. Let us know if you do find a good one as I fancy another go!

 

I done one at silvlerstone. Excellent day out. Not in a mk2 tho..

 

Most are only about 10-20 minutes actual seat time.

 

I did London rally school mk2s. Was really good

 

Phil price rally school is what you want, the wife treated me for my 30th, was about £250 back then.

 

Did one donkeys years ago, near Ockham in Surrey. (Near the black swan / mucky duck if your from that neck of the woods) Was there all day, pretty comprehensive briefing, loads of runs on 2different "stages", then had the shit scared out of us by the instructor at the end, really good day!

Forest experience in mid Wales.
Mk2 escort, proper gravel/forest rally stage.
Higgins family teaching you.. And showing you how fast it can be done at the end..

I was looking at a full day at the Higgins one. I reckon an extra 80 quid is probably worth another 100% more time there
