a real sleeper 24V twin turbo
#44
i cant pay that for it its just to much my top line is £3k, i want it to build something, maybe a mk3 cortina and fit everything in it if it would all fit without to much hassle, if not then a sierra.

It may be worth that if someone was really after that sort of thing. But other than that, I cant see any real value much past £2k, and that is only for the drivetrain.
It's a really limited market car in the first place.

Geoff who owns TT has been running around in it for years, he used it everyday when I worked there. Not my cup tea for looks but a great sleeper.
Well looked after aswell

its got a pectel t6 ecu aswell are they any good ?
are they fully aftermarket and mappable easily ?

Ive seen other people mention them here. I think they are quite basic, but obviously it is capable of running that engine. Whether it's able to control much else, dont know.
Ive used other ecu's with software that I believe is similar to Pectel, and that software is excellent to use. So if the Pectel is similar or the same, it would be very good in that respect.
I guess when you ignore labour costs, there is £3k worth of parts to the right buyer, maybe sell some other bits and weigh it in for scrap.
But there's a lot of labour costs to do that

i have a trainee mechanic with me and another fitter here and there when hes not on site, i just use the cars as slack time jobs, as ive got to pay the men anyways if were quiet then the quiet hours get used up on projects, it works quite well tbh.
weve just finished another engine build and final drive build, and ram rebuilds on the forklift, were just preparing for harvest now so there will be a few hours spare here and there over the next month before were flat out 7 days a week with harvest and contracting again.
im hopeing tt send me a second chance offer or if not just let me buy it out of ebay for £3k.

they told me the reserve.
i think i will message them and just say my £3k offer stands and i will purchase out of ebay so it will save them a few fees.
they can only say no.
i know mate but its not what im after, i want soemthing different.
this will give me a 3 litre twin turbo complete drivetrain and still be a cosworth engine.
it would be cool transplanted in a 3 door cossie rep
id hope it should make 400 hp without to much effort, and it will have the air con transplanted over aswell.
but at £4k its just not worth it, its barely worth it at £3k but considering its been built by tt the machanicals should all be good to go just a case of reshelling it all then im prepared to stretch to £3k.
id hope £2k should buy a nice 3 door sierra shell.
i know theres lots of the 2.9 v6 turbo technics conversions but there cant be many of these cosworth v6 conversions out there which is what attracts me to it i think.
if i can get it id love an esc cos shell as ive never had one but i guess even just fully kitted shell with glass is good money.
