Mark at bespoke looms also has £950.00 of my money.... which i payed him at the end of last year for a custom wiring loom and emerald ecu . he is not answering his phone or emails to me. he told me last year when i made the order i had to pay by the end of the week as emerald were prepping the ecu for me and he had to pay for it by the friday. since then ive now spoke to emerald and he had enquired about my ecu, but never followed it through..... its been left until now as i wasnt ready for the wiring yet as its taking me awhile to sort things out with the vehicle, but since he hadnt been replying to my email of how he was getting on it then led me to contact emerald and on searching his company name on google its brought me to this thread. so mark if your reading this i recomend you contact me asap.....

we seem to be talking about amounts of money that would require a personal visit rather than legal advice. the chances of getting your cash back are very slim. id rather have the satifaction of breaking all his fingers with a hammer if it was me.

I personally don't think Steve is tared with the same brush as it wasn't him that took the chaps money and wrecked his car.
Steve stuck up for his brother through miss information as things escalated a bit out of hand.
Steve has apologised. Which shows he's a lot more of a man than his brother.
You can choose your friends but you can't choose family uh.

For more to come on here to post up similar experiences is shocking, how many are waiting?

Unfortunately Steve getting heavy with Adam dropped him right in to it regardless to his acknowledgment or not, he's a big lad and knows he was in the wrong so should be going out of his way to help.

I doubt he has access to mark after this, I would have thought he would want nothing to do with him, or be tarred with the same brushed, I'm sure he's embarrassed as it is.

If he's practically disowned his brother I doubt he will be speaking to him any time soon, I also doubt he would want to be accociated with him after what he's done to customers and PF forum members.

id have thought since theyre brothers and he was quite happy to push the guys around at the time then he is involved and he should be doing something.
id hope he is doing something behind the scenes to help resolve some of this.

if anyone is owed money and that bothered either grow a pair and go down there or seek legal advice. this thread is here to warn people so nobody else gets caught out not to keep dragging steve into it imo.

i wasnt suggesting steve was responsible financially, after all i wouldnt pay any debts my brother owed. i was suggesting he might be dealing with his brother behind the scenes to push him towards resolving some of this but i definately agree with you on the point that those involved should grow a pair and go down and get their money back one way or the other no matter whos there walking about and bumping into folk

seeing threads like this and the other is why i do every little bit myself on my car, every nut and bolt has been done myself because of things like this, id rather sit there for weeks picking a engine loom apart to make my own rather then pay someone after seeing this and i know almost nothing about wiring, at the end of the day small claims court is what you should be going to, hes cost you time and money, you should be compensated for having to pay for it to be collected even if the car was not drivable after he had of completed the work due to the sheer fact that he did no positive work on the car anyway,
its cost you to get the car there
its cost you to get it back
its damaged (its cost you again to be fixed)
it now needs the wiring to be redone still (still costing you)
at the end of the day i dont see why you should be 1 penny out of pocket here, take this to a small claims court
you have named and shamed, showed pics, lots of people have had their say, in my opinion i think the only reason another thread needs to come up about this is for forum members to know the outcome if you take it to a small claims court so that they know what outcome to expect if this does ever happen to them
and only one other thing i can say is sorry to cossie4i for getting court up in it, as all ive seen of him on here is a genuinely nice chap with a good project thread going not that ive met him in person

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Sounds like a classic case of someone offering the world, taking the work on and the money, spending said money and delivering nothing. Now he has no money and is avoiding all contact from paid customers as he has no finished product and no money to give back. Only way forward for people that have lost out is via small claims court. I'm only speculating but Mark probably hasn't got enough for a Happy Meal let alone a big refund.

really?
I can understand people being pissed off if they have had poor service and are owed money etc. However, to put people's home address on an open forum - that doesn't seem right to me.
Yes, i'm sure the information is freely available on the Internet for those that want to go and look for it, but surely any issues are between individuals and Mark.

He has not been living the high life on peoples money.
I have been to see him this morning, lets say a few words was said on my behalf and for those that he owes money/looms to.
He has promised me that the work will be done / money returned to all.
He just needs some breathing space to be able to do this.
I will keep on his case to make sure that this happens.

I agree with Gordy - sounds like a lad who takes the money upfront, spends it and cant afford to do the job. Hate traders like that!! Had the same issue myself - i would recommend small claims court - costs 60-80 quid to start and another 80 fr the hearing fee but the only way you will take it further.
As for fixing the issues, lots of people recommend Will Pedley and i have contacted him about doing work for me and think i will be going to him when my current dissappointment finishes the car.

Can everybody who is owed money/looms please PM me so I can keep track of what has been going on.
I can then keep on at my Brother to sort each issue out.
Like I said, this will not be resolved overnight.
I can only do so much to help, but I will try my best to sort things.
