I was employed by this bloke as the technical guy at his company, I lost out a lot of money and nearly lost my house because of him. I in no way shape or form endorsed anything he did to scam people, and did not find out about any of it until about a month after the company went tits up and the police interviewed me regarding my knowledge of what happened there...

now as a small company myself, refunds are something I have to give - with the money usually already spent on stock, cost of business etc and so large refunds can sometimes take a couple of days to get together - but I always issue them. I am not defending Mark, Steve or jimbob walton, a screwup on the level it looks like Mark has done is unnacceptable and probably down to him either trying to be bigger than he is, then struggling when the work comes in to acheive what he says he will, or alternatively he just wants the money now and worry about the consequences later.

I am not in a position to judge, only 2 people truly know the answer to that.

luke I paid this dude guy Ł 495 for two looms, one cosworth engine loom and loom alternator one, and nothing, the looms never came. i have the invoice and the payment receipt. this guy is a liar.

Thank good i have just seen this tread, Mark made me a loom for a escort cosworth last year it was spot on 100%, it was also delivered within 4 weeks. I am now after another loom for another cosworth and was about to ask Mark to make it for me. Not a chance now, he must of gone down hill pretty fast, can anybody recomend company that make a braided loom for Sierra cosworth.

No it's not alright that people have been messed about, but it's also not right for the majority to listen to half a point of view of the minority.

Im in the same boat ordered a loom from Clint of Turbosport as everyone rated him, this was back in early March paid in full with order as quoted 7-10 days to do it and still don't have it, now I know the guy has not been well lately and I totally understand recovering is more important than my loom but Im out over Ł300 and my project is going backwards as ive been waiting for it to get on.

Its a shame that mark is ripping people of as he did a really nice job on my loom for my escort this was only late last year, a few people have asked me who made the loom for me and i adviced them about mark as him did such a good job of my and a quick turn around, but as they say you are only as good as your last job

Because there is absolute proof the guy is taking, no - stealing - money, and if you're lucky enough to receive your goods it's unlikely to be within anything like a reasonable timeframe. Well he doesn't seem too keen to come on here to put his side forward so people are only going to get half a point of view. If i was in his position and people were slagging me off i would be on here trying to clear my name, he knows he's in the wrong and that's why he is not posting on this thread. If even his own brother fell out with him over this it's not rocket science to work out that he is up to no good.

Out of interest has anybody in this thread reported him to the police or is everyone being too polite and not wanting upset or offend his feelings? Whilst he is getting away with it he will carry on doing it.

steve has always been fine with me but for his bro to still be "apparently" ripping people off even after all this has come to light is just plain wrong

there used to be a whole heap of peeps who i'd recommend, but as of right now, the only one i could properly recommened as being able to do the job would be will pedley

i know that sheady may be able to sort some looms out from MAD but i'm not sure if they would be original looms or for his range of ecus and then there are always the likes of reyland and msd and scs and norris and the like, but i'd only go with big name tuners nowadays as the rest of them seem to have too much of a cowboy attitude to business

obviously there are others out there who would do the same job for a fair price and within a fair timescale, but i don't know who they are so i couldn't recommend them

I did not put these threads up to try and get something back etc.
I sorted all this out myself and went up there alone (with exception of adam who collected it for me RS recovery)but I went in the unit faced with 3 guys twice my wight(I say weight as they were either fat or tall) and went about my business of trying to sort my problems out.
so don't think for a second I went up there and failed to resolve anything and am now on here crying over it!!!????
