It would seem the 55 users viewing this thread, are waiting for something to happen

Will be good to see a reply, but tbh, now we've seen you're not the only one, its fairly academic

To put it into the open... Steve is a tad annoyed with his brother .. Has he as not told him the exact truth !... And Steve thought the car had only been there a month Tops ... So from the people on here that have dealt with Steve and met him will 100% he's a nice man with a heart of gold ... From what i was told he was sticking up for his brother .. Which in all fairness is the right thing to do if your told gospel off your brother but Steve wasn't ..:-(

Yep the picture put up is indeed the guy that shot out of his chair and started pushing me around and threaten to hurt me?sad thing is he only done it because Mark filled him with shit.I'd feel silly if I was him and ashamed of I was Mark.
I don't doubt for a second what all you guys are saying about him being a nice guy.he just acted on false ground and had made a mistake by listening to his brother.
just glad there ate others that have had the bad experience to back up mine.

To be fair I think most people on here who know of Steve would realise this mat

Well out of order of his brother to ruine his name as such

Steve thought he had to have his brother back then fair play to him for doing so

I'm sure the op understands this and Steve should feel he can post up his side and what he was told to clear his name of any wrong doing

Top man is titch and a true petrol head
Even though he drove an fake cossie for years lol

All these accounts of lies and fake promises sound very true to me, as I have dealt with this messer first hand. I ordered a cossy management engine loom ; I was told that I would receive it within a week and so I paid in full Ł470. After 3 months of total bullshit I finally got the much awaited loom. Apart from being 18" to long ( he came and measured it when I ordered it ) it also had requested bits missing, and to top it all looked like a 5 year old child had made it. I had a day off work and took the loom back, he cut 18" out of the loom therefore I now have a new Ł470 loom that has been cut and joined in the middle. Just when you think things couldn't get worst ! After a week of trying to get the newly built car running with no luck, I pinned the loom out and found, the air bypass and air temp had been cross wired and something else that I can't remember now. But anyway the car is running now although the loom still looks a pile of expensive crap. I urge people not to use BESPOKE LOOMS as this is how you can expect to be treated.

Instead of putting indents on each loom end for what it's for you got coloured bits of heat shrink

If the brother is covered in guys getting his head caved in yes BUT Steve was actually the one to jump up and start all the physical stuff, mark just thought he would join in for abit of bravado.Steve was in the wrong simple as that but like I say no doubt under false information.
mark is the route of all my problems and by the looks of it slot of other people to. If I was him I'd start looking for another hobby(that's all it is to him) to stop doing this to people.its no joke to messing with people's cars like this not to mention there's quite large sums of money involved.

Does sound like Steve was simply backing his brother on mis leading information from him which in some respect you can understand anyone with a brother would do the same but you would like to think now he knows all the information he'd come on here and openly apologize for his behaviour

Yeh as said earlier no one knows the full story, Steve was probily doing what he thought was right at the time, I'm sure we've all done it at some point.
It's a shit thing to happen to anyone and it don't help matters when its to do with someone off here

Hi all,

Almost ordered a 4x4 sapphire loom last week, glad I didn't now mate, hope you get it sorted soon,

If it helps a mate of mine owns SIMTEK who specialise in bespoke looms for motorsport etc, ill just wait till he's got time now, give him a ring mate, they are always busy but you'll get a 1st class job.

So the thread has turned from crappy workmanship to Steve having to defend himself

Surely that's for Steve and the guys in question to sort out between themselves? Rather than a public 'flogging'?

Take him to small claims court, think it costs 65 quid, to recover what you paid him for the loom and the damage to your car.

He should step away from the wire crimpers and take up window cleaning! But I'd still not let him clean my windows

Thing is Steve is in a bit of an untenable position. Whether he knew his brother was conning the OP or not, he backed up his brother like any brother would so whichever way he is to argue his case, he can't win. He either knew his brother was conning the OP and still went ahead with being a heavy or his brother told him a bunch of lies and he didn't have a clue what was the real story but even so from what the OP is saying, he started off being the aggressor. I don't know the fella but he seemed cool on here. Unless this is all a bunch of bullshit but I don't think it is.

so lets just get one side of the story straight

bloke goes to collect his car with his mate

one bloke appears and gets ready to hand over the car

and then 2 other chaps "appear from nowhere/their chairs and agro ensues

so then it's back in the car and offski

if that's the picture that's been painted first, i'll wait for steve to post his side of the story as he's never come across as an agro type of person, he's come across as a really really tight person though

and, as others have said, known him for years and never heard this sort of thing at all

I firmly believe in Karma if this was me one day when ever l would return the favour to Mark in some way or another, as for Steve l am sure he feels pretty pissed of and embarrassed about it all, and hopefully ashamed of Mark,

I feel for Steve because of his brother and everyone else who's been ripped off I was about to have a loom done but have been helped by someone on here thank fuck. But as said his brother is a cunt lying to him as has been said he's a big softy and kind bloke imagine if because of the aggression/pushing Luke and series1 battered him bet Mark would of stood and watched also bet he wouldn't of even cared as long as he was ok! Feel sorry for ALL involved with the exception of MARK!!
