hard to tell but you can see the old grubby wire.
the state my engine was left in,
rust setting in on areas from being left outside or something.
all cut wires
the oldloom just thrown intoi the boot well including the modules erc
my Ł450 electronic extinguisher is under all that,i havnt looked at it yet to see if that's scratched or damaged.

if I run a business of this type id treat every car like it was made of fragile glass.
pete at demon performance, now that's a guy that treats a customers car as it should be treated.

That scratch looks deliberate, although could have happened by a careless third party. But I would be inclined to give the engine etc a good check before you fire it up!! Nuts/screws down the plug holes, glue, sand/paint stripper or whatever in the sump. Better to be safe than sorry. Not saying he would do this, but best to check.

Shocked by all this as I've seen some of his looms and they looked top notch.
Sounds very unlike the Steve I know too, but seeing the pics, that is very shoddy work.

its hard to catch it with the rain but the rear bumper has abrasion marks all over that area and dripping down off the tail onto the bumper is like wet bread gone dry??that's the only way I can describe it tbh.like somethings been put on the car and its rained then its dried out???
the engine will be comimg back out and ill go over the whole car,its bacically back to the start for me now.

Could have been anything chucked or sprayed near or on it, accidentally or otherwise. Anyway, you have your car back which is the most important matter. The damage can be put right in the correct hands. We constantly live and learn fella. Chin up and get on with the project!

i feel your pain mate

he priced a full car loom for my mk1 fiesta i dropped the car there, 5 months and lots of lies later, i even dropped in one day he wasnt there and was on the phone to him with him telling me what he'd done as i was looking at the car, he was a tad flustered when i told him i was stood by the car! also was fast to take 700 quid off me and all i was left with was a car full of overspray(some expensive throttle bodies and pro alloy parts) and some shit wiring that went in the bin when i showed gary barker who is now doing the loom! i took it as a lesson learnt and wiped my mouth!

i also had a mate get an engine loom off him and he had to have it modded and the quality was shit! made me look bad!

bad trader so avoid at all costs!!!!

this was the bullshit i got off him!!! the turning point for me pulling the plug!!!

Morning David,

Right despite my best efforts it’s not going to be finished.

I have 2 lots of parts still outstanding which should of been here last week.

What i propose to do is have you come pick it as as planned and get it back off you once the welding has been done to finish it all off.

Its taken me a lot more time than i expected and cost more in parts than i accounted for, don’t worry your bill is not going up my mistake I quoted you and I will stick to that.

I do need to take some money off you for it before you take it, your outstanding amount is Ł700 of which i would like Ł500 today and then the other Ł200 once it’s finished, I estimate there is 2 full days work left on the car to complete it.

I really do hope that’s ok

Can you call me with an eta please and we can discuss this further if you wish.

All the best

Mark

so to summerise i gave Ł700 and he wanted more money

all i got was a trashed car full of filler dust and overspray and a box of crap wire, cheap fuse box and some fuses and relays!

its like my experience all over again!!!!!unreal:shocke d:
I made the mistake of paying him nearly all the money upfront when the car was dropped off.he calledme up two weeks ago saying come and get your car your money is here, foolishly asked him to continue but then after talking to trusted family, two days later I decided it was best to get the car home ,when I called to say id changed my mind id like to bring the car home he told me he had spend Ł700 of the money and I would have to wait for him to try and source it.
a week later I was able to pick the car up.
then was treated like my first post

Shocking to read that mate, and as for that Cossie 4i bloke......seen hundreds of threads from him on here and never came across like that so what a total and utter prick trying to intimidate you like that, always looks a big soft fucker to me tbh and definitely not up to those sort of scare tactics
Hate reading things like this where people get ripped off and worse by so called professionals, and happens far too often. Puts you off trusting anyone, why on earth do people advertise a service they aren't capable of delivering and then get nasty when they're found out?
I've rarely had good experiences with so called 'specialists' that i've read about on forums or in magazines etc.
Hope you get someone decent on the case to sort it for you
