cooling/swirl pot fitting question
due to my engine being in the boot and the rad up front i cant run a swirl pot in the usual place of next to the thermostat.
i have fitted it on the top rad hose next to the rad BUT due to clearance issues i have to run it back to front, so the water enters the bottom and exits the top then into the rad.
the small hose on the top of the swirl pot goes to the header tank. it constantly has hot water flowing into the tank, so its effectively bypassing the rad.
should i keep it setup like this or just not bother with the swirlpot?
heres a childs attempt at a drawing to show what i mean lol
