Default Advice on selling car

Ive put my lexus is200 up for sale.First phone call, the 4 Polish lads come in an irish plate golf to view it.They spoke in there language,i said im English.They tryed knocking me down on price I said no its going for what i price i advertised it for.He said can i put the money in your bank,i said no cash will be good.He then says the car is being exported to Moldova.A part from getting his details on the log book is there anything else i can do to cover my arse.The car is in my birds name and i no they wont give a fuck and blow it threw all the speed cameras going on the way down there.I just don't want any come backs on my missus

Write out a reciept with time and date of them taking the car and get them to sign it ,and then keep it ,and also send off the log book asap ,dont let them take your part of the log book ,also a section in there to fill out if exporting,also cash only and get a checker pen to go over notes to see if fake

Just do two receipts with time and date of sale and both sign them, and make sure the logbook is filled correctly.

Take a picture of the guys with the car as you make the deal, if they are legit, there won't be an issue. Rember some of these guys are genuine, cars in uk are significantly cheaper than the rest of Europe, when my mate sold his smart coupe, the guys where Turkish, came on the boat that morning and collected his smart and a supra twin turbo to take to sell on somewhere else in Europe, bet they had a fight to see who got which keys
