Zetec turbo piston and rod set up advice needed ASAP!
Hello people. I'm in desperate need of sum piston and rods for a zetec turbo silver top 2.0 std bore size. Can you recommend me sum please. What are you lot running? I've had a set of wossner pistons on order for about 9 weeks now and they still can't give me a date! Bit of a piss take really. Hope you lot can help me I'm in need of a company that can sell me a piston and rod set up thanks. Hope you can help.

standard bore?
i'd go up to 85mm and get them from the states, i bet you can get an off the shelf piston and rod package for around Ł600 shipped within days.
i used race engineering for my 86mm ones a couple of years back, no problems with the service at all. i was told 5 weeks due to the 86mm size not being common and had to be made at manufacturer, 85mm are off the shelf.
as long as you use a matching piston and rod package it matters not which block it is, in the states it's all blacktop, but that does mean a better rod ratio and overall length is the same as silvertop versions.

good advise there
a friend of mine got a set of rods from the states and used a set of mint c20let pistons and all in cost less than Ł500 with machincing the rods to accept the pistons
theres loads of options out there, but try devil developments, they most likely have them on the shelf
