Default Swedish inlets, worth having?

Just wondering if it's worth me buying a Swedish inlet for my 3 dr cossie?

Tried to find any posts from the past but not really coming up with much.

My car is gonna be over 400bhp so just wondering if it's going to be any good at that power level or not!

Cheers all.....

Get a small turbo escort cosworth one or if you have more power in mind down the line get a hart one

Swedish = poor airflow/loss of drivability.

Fit a spaced 4x4 or a Small Turbo Escos as above

as i said in the other thread mate, choose a tuner first and dont just throw parts together because you've read it on the internet. i fear you'll end up with a mish mash of parts and spent money which isnt needed

incidentally a eec iv inlet will be good for 600hp
sweedish inlets have been proven to have flow issues
a 4x4 inlet with a spacer will flow circa 500hp

choose a tuner and get him to spec the engine, then you can collect the parts

Thanks for the advice. I still haven't bought most bits yet and have decided to go with mark at m a I think for the tuning.

I am currently on holiday and you know what it's like when you get time to think about bits that's why I have put a few threads up to see what peoples thoughts are.

I am going to contact mark when I'm back before I make any decisions.
