I don't get it - I use my FRS everyday - it goes every where, get parked anywhere and is lovely to drive on short or long runs.

IMO would have to be mk2 ST as nice as mk1 RS's are!

I've owned focus mk1 and 2 not ST/RS tho and even as standard cars they are worlds apart in comfort and ease for a daily. If that's what your looking for.

Focus rs with parts availability is the issue

rears qtrs are that expensive that the car would be wrote off before repaired so thats irrelevant. even when they were available still they would still be wrote off as the cars not a 20k car now and not economical to repair. that said theres enough around getting broke so parts are still on the market.

all suspension is still available. see here

http://www.carpartsexpress.co.uk/For...765-49-53-269/

theres very little parts not available somewhere.

shit load of RS parts here

http://www.carpartsexpress.co.uk/For...c-1-765-49-53/

dont know what you mean by price paid and then you crash?
if you crash and its beyond repair you get insurance payout, same as you would with any car.

Supply of focus st parts are plentyfull

Power steering pump for rs ??? Option is second hand or a recondition pump from your old one

Secondhand parts are not a reliable source as the older they get the more fucked they get

is it not just the same pump as the st 170?
Granted most parts are quite expensive for the rs but i have not had any problem getting parts for mine.
I would drive mine every day if i could but dont get the chance to.
