hi guys dont know if this has been asked before but ive heard that a masda mx5 6 speed gearbox will go onto a duratec and if so what clutch/flywheel combo would it need ?this is going in a mk2 escort any help would be great cheeRS
Not sure of this but a mate of mine is putting a duratec in a Mk2 Escort and he has been told the Mazdz engine and gearbox sits at an angle so I do not think it is possible as obviously if it does the gear stick would not be straight

I think they do sit at a slight angle but not enough to worry about - the Honda S2000 does the same thing.
