What am i doing wrong?? New Turbo....
Finally ready to start up the beast since fitting my new T34. I've been told to "bleed" the turbo oil feed pipe until i see fresh oil. But when i crank it over.... nothing! Only a few drips when the pipe is angled down to the floor but hardly anything! I was expecting a constant flow??
Any ideas?

I've disconnected the coil lead from the dizzy and cranked it over for a good 30 seconds 2 or 3 times but nothing is coming out. Only a few drips when i place the oil feed below on the floor (so gravity is pushing the oil out). I haven't removed the pipe at all from the block.
As for a blockage.... dunno, hard to tell through stainless steel braiding

take the pipe off and test to see if its blocked or attach some pipe to the back of th block to test the flow and see
as it could even be a block in the back of the block ( doubt it though )
take off the oil feed before the turbo first and with a cup test for the feed, if it comes out then attach to turbo ( should be done this way anyway i was told, so if ya already doing that then test the back of the block with a new pipe

As spiky said , a 6mm socket on the oil pump drive and a speed ratchet or a drill will get the oil up much quicker and wont ruin your battery ! Its not unusual for the oil pumps to go dry if the engine is new or been standing for some time .

ok checked the feeder pipe, no blockages... or if there was its been blasted away with compressed air
BUT
Cranking it over and over.... no oil coming out where the feeder pipe connects to the block. Just left the pipe off and craking it for ages.... no oil. Its wet with oil but nothing coming out.
wtf!!!
