Hi all,

Doing my house up at the moment and need something like a people carrier or some sort of van like vehicle, even a big ass estate so I can do a lot of the diy work on my house without getting my Audi filthy.

Ideqlly got a budget of around £500 and it can be any condition and only has to have a few months tax and test as thats all I need it for,

Any suggestions?

Meant to add, the only reason I am not actually getting a van is the insurance as I have 0 NCB on a van but 9 NCB on a car

what about a Vauxhall Zafira.. they are practically a van anyway and really big in the back with all the rear seats down.. should get an early one with short T&T for £500..

might just get a galaxy for 500, with the seats out they are massive, and they just get under the bar at the tip.

I need an estate for pretty muh the same reason last year I picked up a pug 306 diesel estate that needed a drivers door window was pretty battered and wasn't the nicest shade of green, it had 6 mots mot no tax, picked it up for £200 it was so reliable and cheap to run I ended up keeping it for a year and the only things I paid for was tax and mot. I got it of the auto trader on line it was an unwanted px, if you look hard enough you will find plenty of cheap run arounds
