hello people ive got a 2.1 zetec turbo its now all up and running, but ive got a prob im running c20let pistons on std rods and when i start it up from cold im getting a bottom end knock now and then once it warms up and things expand it shuts up i got the rods 2nd hand so im thinkin they are no gd hence why they wore removed gd old fleebay a! so now ive got the hump!

what pistons and rods you lot running in your 2.1 zetec silver tops.
bore size is 86mm would be very grateful for any advice thanks people.

it might just be piston slap, happens with forged pistons sometimes, when warm the tolerences are taken up.
best to get £600-700 and buy rod and piston package from the states IMO.

yer that could be a thought, its not gd tho what ever it is. i like to have things right, been lookin at the area six package lot of money tho any one using the wossner pistons and pec rod set up?
