escort van engine change issues
Hi all,
I have managed to stuff my engine on my escort van by getting stuck in flood water a few weeks ago and was wondering if anyone on here could help me, my van is 2002 75 td without intercooler. I cant find the same engine anywhere to replace like for like, but i can find the escort car engine ( 90 bhp intercooler on top) my mechanic is thinking about fitting my inlet manifold instead of ic but is worried about engine mount position and other issues. My van also has leccy windows and air con, im worried about fuel pump issues and wiring if i go car td engine. Any advice on the transplant would be gratefully apreciated
