heard about a local fella building this, apparantly it has a rear wheel drive space frame affair with a 300 bhp cossie lump,rollcage,fuel tank under the bonnet etc,heard it was in my local garage for the drive shafts to be fitted but the engine was too off set to one side but i reckon it would be pretty quick down the 1/4 when finished if the front wheels stay on the ground

 

lol , the engine and box would be longer than the fookin car, it wouldnt fit with the diff etc in surely, would it???

 

apparantly exsisits so yeah spose it must do! i know of a rear wheel drive mini with a 2.1 zetec turbo rear wheel drive so spose anythings possible

they guy is quite well known in essex, he had a turbo'd blue orion and a blue saph cossie used to be a regular at essex rs owners.i say fair play to him when its done its gonna fly

It's blue BTW and the engine is mounted transverse, not longditudenal, i.e. mounted like a cvh in a rst.
The engine is in, and the subframe is being strengthened, as it is on coilovers, and the old cinq was flexing a bit.
Engine is in the back. It was gonna be 200bhp s2 lump....but it's about the same work to get the cossy lump in.
Car is my mates, I am just supplying all the stuff, tanks, cables, brakes, bodykit, wheels, etc etc.
