As above do they exist??

i know escorts usually had the 15" versions and scorpios had the 17" ones. But i have never heard or came across a set of 16" ones, until tonight.

im 99% sure my friend has a set of 16 inch softlines.rare as hens teeth as most were produced in 15 or 17inch as said

I believe they did but only made a limited amout of sets.. i could be wrong tho

I had never heard of 16" version, which is why i asked!

I know RS7s came in16 but softlines is another story and doubtful

i knew RS7s came in them, as i had a set back in 2005!

And it turns out this set i have questioned about is definately 8jx16"!! So definately do exist now and must be extremely rare!! Im also awaiting pictures to confirm!

Though i find it odd, as the 15s are 7x15 and the 17s are 8x17!

If he's measured them with a tape measure they will come out an inch bigger. So a 7x15 will measure as an 8x16, which sounds quite likely.

Or the casting of the wheel itself, may state "8Jx16"

Only ford wheel I can think of with an 8Jx16 is an Escos rim. 8J is wide for an OEM 16inch wheel

I still doubt softspokes in 16s

softspoke
14s were 6j
15s were 6j
17s were 7.5j

As i said, he confirmed they where 8jx16" So when the picture is sent of the number markings etc, i will tell you what way he measured them!! They silly fucker probably did measure them himself. But we will see!!

ps. i thought a 17" softline was 8" wide.
