Sounds like the scene in Goodfellas where the truck driver goes into the diner knowing full well that his truck is going to be stolen. Then acts all suprised.

They stole a trailer containing the car rather than half inching the rari

Much easier to figure out than someone stealing a Ferrari and driving it away

Probably stolen to order though

Does look like it has been planned, i.e. following them and waiting for their best chance to jump in & nick it.

Seeing this is an very unique car, I'm pretty sure it's being hidden somewhere and is being stripped, sold for parts. Sad really...

bingo!! stinks like an insurance job to me too..

Wealthy racer feeling not so wealthy... fancies his money back sharpish, gets someone to 'steal it' and sells most of it back in parts to the fellow ferrari racing community..

Trailers get stolen all the time, I don't know of many people who have ever had a trailer checked by the police, hence making them easy to resell. Bonus for the thieves when the trailer has a big money car inside

Yeah but if you'd got £170000 worth of car in the back you wouldn't leave it somewhere it could be nicked!!
