Default Strange fiesta st misfire. Help lol

My 2005 has a od misfire. It's on 42k miles

Basically it revs fine neutral and reverse. And if your cornering hard, and if you foot to the floor it will cough then clear and pull ( as in if your giving it death )

However if your cruising or part throttle ( ie normal driving) its almost undrivable

It's had a new map sensor and gaskets and egr pipe and I've had it on diagnostics and thats come up clear.

Thinking maybe coil pack.

Just odd that it's fine in reverse.

Any thoughts ?
Cheers

Right update. Today I've tried

New plugs
Leads
Coil pack
Throttle bodie
Tried it with abs disconnected
Tried with lambs disconnected

Runs fine when it's cold, the hotter it is the worse it is.

My mate recons it's compression but it idles and revs so cleanly when no in bear and there no smoke at All

Heeeeelp lol

have it diagnosed propperly, take some live readings, MAF/MAP voltages TPS/throttle butterfly feedback, lambda values, switching times, cat eficiancy etc.

i take it you re calibrated all these parts you were throwing at the car every time you changed something matey?

if not you might as well just take them off, put them in the boot, had a wank and put them back on, you would have got the same results as fitting other parts without calibration

Had it on live diagnostics. It's not that clever to give all those readings but checked lamba. And it's not can bus so doesn't need calibrating. You just reset the ecu each time
