What's the benefit of this conversion? Just stronger and capable of more power? Is there much to the conversion?
Never looked into this and am quite intrigued.
the benefit is the strength of the diff, i have run 760 rear hub hp 650 rear hub lb ft torque through a supra diff, it had a carbonetic lsd but crownwheel and pinion where stock and it never broke, it also ran 295/30/19 r888 rear tyres and clean hooked in third in the dry, ive had a few cossies and i dont personally think any 7.5" cossie diff no matter how its uprated would take that ammount of power.
I have one waiting to be fitted at the moment. Its ment to be a straight forward swap / bolt in mod .
It comes with all flanges/brackets nuts an bolts for fitting ..

Would recommend this conversion without any doubt.
Know about some broken supra diffs but those ppl have to rethinking their style of driving I guess. A supra diff is very very strong and will take much abuse before it's gone.

I've got a diff here and just need the in and output flange adaptors. Who sells just these as I don't want or need to pay for a complete kit with diff.
I have got to make my own mounts as I am not using a cossie hoop.

Same here mate, nobody seems to want to help out by just providing the adapting parts, they wanna charge silly amounts on top for a diff that only costs about £100 from a scrappy

£1K or nothing
How about - £300 for a fitting kit and we are all happy
tbf if i had designed and made up a conversion kit i wouldnt sell off the main conversion parts cheap without the kit, unless the mark up was still good on the parts. mkiv supra tt diffs still fetch good money though tbh.
It's the MK3 diff 3.73 ratio that we need anyway, and they're dead cheap and common. But I understand the reasoning for it, but you're basically paying £900 for flanges and mount

Aye Mark, but you said you wouldn't be making them though since other do already
hi
will do the shaft adapters ,as i have started fiiting supra diffs in my rear cradles ,but the plates to bolt them in a standard beam i wont be doing

ah i thought it was mk 4, yeah they are mega cheap.
I'd be interested in just the adapters for drive shaft too.
U can also use the mk2 supra diffs, turbo have the LSD and these are the ones they use in America.
But we need the one's closest to our ratio or you'll be forced to change bits in the box as well. So the 88-92 MK3 Supra 3.0 Turbo or N/A with the 3.74.1 diff is what us RWD boys need
@ Mark
I know mate, but I need the adapters for a standard beam Can you PM me a price for the CV adapters please mate, I might be able to make brackets out of stainless to mount.
Will deffo have a pair of output flange adaptors off you. I did enquire but was not ready, am now
Do you do an input flange adaptor too? Would take all 3. I wanted both drive shaft pcd's so that I can retain small cv's if necessary eg 100mm and 108mm.
hi
just a thought does anyone know if the other conversions take into account that most cars will be lowered so by lifting the diff in the beam when making plates will regain the proper drive shaft angles so plunge remains as standard and joints have a easier time , might be worth considering
I'm interested to see where this goes, if something can be put together between traders and members i'd be in for a conversion kit. I turned down a diff months ago as i couldn't get the fitting kit seperate, think the diff was only £150
