Default how to get rid of condensation

got a head light cracked
stuck new glass on it
how do i get rid of the moisture??

leave in direct sunlight or hairdryer on it.

I remove one bulb and drive round with the lights on for a while. The heat of the bulb soon dries them out.

sounds like a plan i tried the hair dryer but it came back same as ever

any more suggestions???

Sure you've sealed it up enough? I'd take it out and leave it in a warm place overnight with the bulbs out and back cover off. If condensation re-appears then it's not sealed up properly.

thats prob the best idea i think
ive an aga in the house il take it out and set it beside that over night thanks for the suggestions folks
tbh i think the hair dryer just moved the condensation fron water on the glass to vapour then resettled

If it mists up again, get some tiger seal and use that to reseal the glass to the unit, I've used that on plenty of light lenses in the past and i've not had one leak yet!

got it out and sitting pretty beside the aga now

when i got the car the previous owner didnt set the bonnet stand into position properly and dropped the bonnet resulting in broken glass dafty

Next time your cleaning your car leave it running, put tin foil(reflect side in) over the head light and leave main beam on whilst you clean. Normally shifts condensation fairly well.

Make sure you leave the bulb covers off so the moisture can escape.

Also PMSL @ Dafty Bit of Ulster Scots?
