just call the manufacturers up and ask them if they sell direct or use a UK distributor. If they use a distributor then you need to ask for the regional saleman to come round and see you

you've got the choice of many, Coma, Valeo, Bosch, Vtech, DriveTec etc........

Just be careful as its a saturated market, do you plan on opening a shop or internet only?

There is a few, look up marathon / jaystock , Ferrais/fps plus general main dealers like @firstparts, TPS then sovereign for rotating electrics, quintin hazel for suspension

It's not a cheep business to get started and most suppliers want 30 days credit and all parts and euros have saturated the market

Good luck though

If you dont know where to get parts from then dont bother starting, do the homework first.

If you can't afford to stock a warehouse then don't bother IMO. People want their stuff and will want most of it same day. If you don't have it they will go elsewhere who does and most people in this business have ware houses full of stock with daily deliveries.

Company I work for has 4 parts deliveries a day and a warehouse full of stock, which is replenished over night. We still lose sales as there is always someone out there who has that part in stock.

You will need a database like TopCat which lists part numbers for you to find stock easily. As said contact which suppliers you want to use as they all have different quality of parts and see how much you will need to spend to get the best discount
