Default What cluch for a 2wd 350bhp saff???

A friend of mine needs a new clutch in his 350hp saff, the only thing is he havent got alot of money at the moment! Im telling him to buy the
Alcon six plate paddle clutch but i think he hasnt got the money for one!
is there any tidy clutch kits which are cheaper than the alcon kit?
and the other question,, where to buy it from

Check with Mike R i think it was who said it but if i remember right, the AP Borg and Beck, which i bought for mine when i had it is supposed to be able to handle a bit more power than a standard cossie clutch and only costs about Ł120ish!!!!!!!

Works with a standard cover plate too and comes as a complete kit

Never had mine long enuff on the road to be able to give a proper verdict thou

i have alcon 6 paddle plate which wernt much and i use a old style std cover

if his cover is ok just get a new plate

you will need an old style release bearing tho these are hard to come by now

old style is flat new style is curved

a new cover requires a new bearing due to the shape in the cover.

an old cover requires an old release bearing

harder to get hold of now

speak to mike r if you need a bearing.

on the new bearing the whole thing spins and its crap it has 2 plastic clips

the old one only the top contact surface spins and has metal clips
