Default 16v in to a sierra

as title i am in middle of putting a 2.3 16v scorpio engine in my sierra. sierra is already a twincam one so plumming isnt a problem. im going to be running weber 45s with rs2000 cams and custom 4 branch. my problem is what to do with the ignition side of things?? . these engine run twin coil packs is there any thing i can do as the whole car ment to be a budget drift toy.

what module do i need to retain the scorpio to run just ignition. a mate recomended msd or megajolt???

aftermarket if you want to get the ignition side of things working

pretty simple with just a trigger wheel for the cps being already built into the side of the block near the oil filter so you should be good to go

megasquirt seemed to be favorite for ease of use

i've got a dohc and a 2.3 exhaust sitting around in the garage so i'll find out if they share the same bolt pattern

from what i can see they do, but i may be wrong so won't quote me on that

plus i'm enjoying some falling over juice

Cant you just use an edis-4 module and early rs2000 pre-pats ecu and loom?? That way youl have fully working ignition

This way You can also get rid of the twin coilpacks and convert to single coilpack (from a fiesta turbo/escort zetec), for reliability purposes. Ive just done this to my engine and its made a diffrence with it not misfiring all the time due to getting rid of the baked wiring and coilpacks.
