cossie wont start
I fitted a group a pump and new fuel filter about 6 months ago but hadent try turn car over till now.i put a fresh battery in it and fresh fuel but im getting no noise from the pump.i put a tester on it and seem to get continuity from positive to negative but im not seeing 12v
Car has an aftermarket pump loom with relay in boot.im sure i can here that click when i turn ignition on but still nothing at pump
Ive tried the button in boot thats fine
Am i right in thinking theres a car relay for pump behind the dash near ecu and is this a known problem?
Also the aftermarket loom was mated to a standard pump so they had used the original plugs.i cut these off and crimped eyelets for the 044
But is it correct the brown is neg and black/red positive
Im sure thats how i done it before
Any help appreciated

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
Check my thread in cossie room regarding fuel pump issue. Will tell you relays and pin numbers to check.
Relay in front is a small yellow one, and hangs behind glovebox.

Well get a multi meter and check the live wire feed to the relay has life when the ignition is first switched on or whilst your cranking it should show constant 12v pos, if that is ok then check your new loom pos is connected fine, then check the inline fuse iis ok this will determine that you have a good trigger feed and the 12v live to the relay. I take it the earth for the pump and relay is through the boot floor ? If so check that connection, if all ok get someone to crank the car whilst you hold the multi meter on the pump terminals if that shows 12v then the pump must be faulty, can't really be anything else as its a simple circuit.
