Default FAO Chip/anyone that knows about VTEC turbo's

Give me all the information you have!

I'll be looking for a new car come end of August, and I keep looking at EK Civics.
I've read countless times that VTEC's love a bit of boost, even the B16's, but what's the safe limit without opening it up?
Can you run a turbo conversion on the standard managment?
What's it like compared to N/A VTEC? I've been in a friends EK that was B16 powered and was very impressed with the way power is delivered. Most recently I've been in a friends DC5, that was awesome fun and loved being abused.

I wouldn't want daft power, but it seems you can get great results with minimal fuss?

If anyone's got any info then feel free to share!

Thanks
Ben.

A mate of mine had a ep3 civic type r
With a massive turbo and at 10psi and holding 8psi it was making 360bhp with various other internals

With the k20 the head flows so well that you have to run massive rear housings

Garage786 do a kit for a s2000 that runs unto 500bhp on stock internals which makes for engines look silly

RickyLee53 is his username on here I think... could be wrong though. He taught Chip quite a bit about boosted Honda engines from memory, there was a big thread about it all. Very interesting read.

Cheers,
Grant

B18c4 can make 300+ bhp reliably on a stock lump and management. Run hondata softwear. And a largish turbo at low boost.

And enjoy 8k of boosted screaming mentalist.
