Default Tips for using RS as every day car!

Hi Guys,

Picking up my first RS on Sunday! It is well looked after and cared for and I will be using this as an every day car! I will be doing about 80 miles ish a day and just wondered if there were any important things I should know apart from the :

Dont boot it from cold
Oil change every 2k miles
Let the turbo cool down when you stop

It is my first turboed car so any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Keep it in the garage. Lol,
Some do tend to burn nasty holes in a persons pocket. They are getting old cars now.
Spose it stems down to the respect thing.

Thrash it everywhere and it will let go.

I will be honest but I will drive it normally (change before 4k) but sometimes I will have the odd blast

It will be kept on my drive most of the time though

IT has just had all the rust cleared up and a lot of underseal put underneath

Have you had a good look underneath your self. Underseal can hide alot of nasty tales.
My old grey S2 I used to drive into the City every day. I guarentee at least twice a week you will get some on wanna try a race. This is where the fuel go's.

It would also be worth investing in a decent car cover if its gonna be kept on your drive, oh and also keep it clean

Have fun with your RS.

Poom, you in Coventry right? Get it to Karl Norris for a check over and one of his chips. I promise you it will be the best money you ever spend.
