Lol no I'm not, the feckin' thing is fooked AGAIN!!!!!
I let it run for 20 mins, then decided I'd take it for a drive, drove 100 yards and it conked out, same problem again!!!!!!!
I did think when replacing the fuse that there might be a reason it had blown (logical I think), or maybe it was just old and not the right rating and someone had chucked it in there at some point, but it seems like there is a deeper routed problem that caused the failure, so now I have to find that out as well!

I am thinking it is possibly a dodgy relay but I have bnever looked at that area of a sierra before, in 11 years of saph ownership i've only ever had to replace an ABS fuse, all the other bits down there I've left alone. Had a look last night and I think it is possibly the yellow relay but not 100% sure due to the fact there are alot more "things" down there than I thought, previously I thought it was only fuel pump/abs/ecu stuff but there seems to be alot of wiring there for that.

Thanks, I have a feeling it's not the relay but it's a simple place to start.

Thanks for the support, I'm glad you're sorted mate, I had a pretty restless nights sleep worring about it. Away to look at the wiring diagrams after reading all your helpful responses!
