OK chap as you take exception, to make it more simple for the clearly intellectually challenged - ANY RS Turbo owned by someone that comes on and brags about racing and beating a car with (allegedly) less power is worth £10k+

 

Im not at that stage yet but nostalgia is my problem,have owned 3 mk4 cabs,they leak,they twist,unless turbo quite slow,shit brakes but when you've not had one for a while you dont think of that or at least I don't,gonna spend some money on the rs soon use it for abit then see how I feel

Sorry but I think you'll find the gauges/dials are disconnected as he has high quality ones placed randomly on his dash lol along with an adjustable boost bodge valve!

 

My daily is a diesel Range Rover, only thing i can beat at the lights is a battery buggy for the disabled.

oil pressure, volts, water temp, and on the pillar is boost, the large Tacho 0-10,000rpm dial on the dash is the rev counter with Shift light.

that boost bodge valve isnt a boost valve its the suspension adjuster, obviously the use of the graphic equalizer isn't needed any more due to the after market stereo so its just plonked on there ?

on another quote i found on this thread there was a guy that said £1,550 for a standard box, i just wanted to say, NO ARE YOU INSANE, the Amount was for the CTS Stage 2 Plus, Quaife ATB, Fiscouse LSD, bla bla bla, you would in actuall fact have to be insane to pay that for a standard box lol, just wanted to clear that up.

Also Luke i went looking at the MTX box and found the CTS to be a better option, avoiding cutting into your car, having custom drive shafts added and a shit load of Labour charges, so i went with CTS out of personal choice after weighing everything up Properly.

3 Porka's are proven faster in the UK we stand at number 8 fastest in the UK at the mo. Will probably beat 2 of them next year but the FFS Porka is supreme . Still on a Ford forum i can boast that mine is the Fastest Ford in the UK .

your right i got no place saying its a competition engine, i mean, it was only built by competition standards, using competition parts and also parts used in the WRC, so who am i to say its a competition lump, again im not disclosing who or where it was built, lets just say they know their shit, full stop.

Right allow me to please sort this one out as im finding it hard to see you finding it hard, ill put this in numbers for everyone.

1. Built the Engine
2. Dyno the Engine
3. Engine Went back in the car with the standard Box
4. Get CTS box Built while using the standard one
5. Remove Standard Box, Fit CTS Box when it arrives
6. Drive the car

Please tell me this clears it up because if not ill draw you a schematic !!
