I quoted it too but it wasn't aimed at anyone plus as how I read it the original wasn't aimed at anyone in particular either.Everyone knows when people quote a lot of pics time and time over it slows it down and gets boring and then everyone moans about it,or in my case I tend to just skip on the thread .It happens

I don't have a Ford. And I don't have Gadget's spectacular views.
But I'm interested in garages in general. So I'll post pictures of mine as an example of what can be done with a low budget and a small-by-US-standards (20'x22') garage. I did all of the work myself, from the sliding-door cabinets up top to the ceramic tile down below. My shoulders still remember digging out the hole for the lift.
Pretty much everything in the place is second-hand, repurposed or home-made.
Benches fold down from the wall:
It looks nice cleaned up, but it's a working garage:

Why do you persist in doing it when you know everyone hates it? A lot of people myself included view this site on a mobile. Do have any idea how annoying it is to half to wait while pics you have already seen load up because some moog has quoted them?

Anyway. My garage thats pretty much deserted at the moment due to time and money limitations!
The garden:
The start:
Part way:
Watertight:
A couple of months back:
10m x 7m. 4m high at the apex. It could house 6 cars with nothing else. With benches, sink, cabinets, tools etc etc its a decent 3 car garage. Room for a lift etc at a later date if I want. Best thing for me though is that its at my house. No buggering off to a unit, just walk out the back door and its there looking at me. Much more convenient.
Whatever you build it won't be big enough!!!
